Storytellers

Where the magic of piano unfolds through an innovative and programmatic curriculum designed to captivate young learners. Our approach goes beyond traditional piano lessons, immersing students in a world where music becomes a language of character, mood, feelings, and storytelling.

Relevant and Engaging Curriculum: Storytellers introduces a curriculum that is not just about piano fundamentals but also about making the learning experience relevant and engaging for young minds.

Conveying Emotions through Music:  The program emphasizes how music can convey character, mood, and feelings. Storytellers learn to use the piano as a powerful tool for expression, turning each piece into a unique story told through the language of music.

Games and Songs: Learning becomes a joyful experience through the integration of games and songs. These interactive elements make the lessons fun!

Building a Love for Playing:  In Storytellers, we believe in nurturing a genuine love for playing the piano. By connecting music to emotions and storytelling, we inspire a passion for creating beautiful melodies, making each lesson an opportunity for artistic expression.

Programmatic Learning:  Students are guided through the foundations of piano systematically giving them a well-rounded understanding of musical concepts.

Presto

Presto teaches so much more than piano!

We teach COMPLETE musicianship: vocal training, ear training, sight reading, music theory, rhythm, music history, proper piano technique, and we do it in a fun, snappy style that tweens love!

Most likely, those students who already have had a year or so of piano haven't studied all areas of music.

In fact, they most likely have only dabbled a little in rhythm, have some note reading skills, and developed some finger strength. We include an optional "challenge" section written into the Presto curriculum to satisfy the appetite of hard-working students and that of students who already have finger dexterity built from previous piano lessons.

In Presto, our students learn music history, classical music, sight singing, ear training and music theory. We are building complete musicians, rather than just pianists, so our students can accompany themselves, sing in harmony, transpose, compose, and excel in any other music endeavor.
