Brandon Bolton

Brandon Bolton was born into a very musical family. “From a very young age some of my fondest memories were watching my grandfather and uncle playing guitar while my grandmother and mother would sing. My grandfather was a professional musician as well as one of my biggest influences throughout my musical career”. Brandon began playing guitar at 16 and began playing professionally at the age of 18, averaging four bookings per week. At the age of 21, while touring with a Columbia Record's artist in Chattanooga, TN, he visited the Atlanta Institute Of Music and became inspired to pursue a music degree. Upon graduation, he relocated back to Nashville to pursue a music career. Brandon became involved in business management in various music studios throughout the south. Throughout the years, he built a solid teaching career and has developed a loyal student base. In 2018, Brandon moved back home to Lawrenceville, GA and began teaching guitar lessons full time to 70+ students per week. Brandon's teaching, touring, studio, and business management experience make him a welcome addition to The Music Garden family!

Caleb Bright

Guitar

Caleb Bright is a guitar enthusiast and has been playing for 15 years. Growing up watching his father play in a touring Christian Rock band and leading worship services in church, Caleb quickly took up guitar. He now plays in his own church alongside his father, producing a new era of compositions. He is also a professional engineer, producer, studio-ready mix master. Being able to create his own music has enabled Caleb to grow not only as a composer, but as a guitarist as well. Caleb enjoys touring around Atlanta, both attending shows as well as performing. Sharing this love of music and the guitar is what has led Caleb to join The Music Garden.

Janette Mata

Guitar, Toddlers, Let's Play Music Yr 1

Janette Mata is a singer-songwriter from Newnan, Georgia, whose love for music began at a young age. She started her journey through guitar and vocal lessons, and nurtured her creativity by participating in choir and drama throughout school, eventually taking on leadership roles in the Newnan Drama Club. She has performed with a cappella groups and competed at the National A Cappella & Choral Convention (NACC) in Nashville.

Janette went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music, where she studied under Grammy Award-winners such as Claudia Brant and Steven Feifke. During her time at Berklee, she developed a deep understanding of music composition, performance, and expression, becoming a well-rounded and versatile artist.

Today, Janette shares her passion for music by teaching early childhood music classes for babies and toddlers. She believes in the power of music to spark joy, support development, and build connection from the very beginning of life. Her classes focus on rhythm, melody, movement, and creative play, making music accessible and fun for even the youngest learners.

Whether she’s performing on stage or leading a circle of little ones in song, Janette is dedicated to using music as a tool to inspire, uplift, and make the world a little brighter—one day, and one note, at a time.”

John Langston

John Langston is a passionate guitar player and songwriter dedicated to helping students unlock the keys to their musical journey. With over six years of experience on the guitar and a deep passion for music education, John brings energy, creativity, and real-world experience to every lesson. A graduate of the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media (AIMM), he combines technical expertise with a love for performance, making learning both effective and inspiring for students of all backgrounds. For the past four years, John has been the guitarist for The Outfield Clovers, a dynamic trio known for its unique sound and lively performances. Whether on stage or in the classroom, he is dedicated to helping students build confidence, master technique, and find their own musical voice. John is looking forward to sharing all his skills with students of The Music Garden!

Jack Gordy

Jack Gordy is a multi-instrumentalist who studied business and music theory at West Georgia Tech and the university of West Georgia. He specializes in stringed instruments and has had experience with percussion, brass, electronic, and wind as well. He has over three years of studio experience where he has learned to record/produce music for artists and has played live performances at venues in the surrounding Atlanta area as well as other states and cities. He's performed as a guitarists for many musical projects over the years and has not only taught instrumental work but also, he shows others how to record and produce the music they create.

Mike Manocchi

Guitar

Mike Manocchi has always loved music and playing guitar. Beginning with a passion for Classic Rock, he developed a knowledge and appreciation of other styles such as Blues, Jazz, Flamenco and Classical. Born and raised in Southern California, he currently performs with many like-minded musicians in the South Atlanta region. A completely self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Mike enjoys playing live and recording in a studio environment. While in his church’s music ensemble, he recorded and produced a Christmas album featuring many of the church’s musicians. His goal is to pass his love of music and music history onto students of all ages at The Music Garden.
