Music Production Classes for Kids and Teens in Peachtree City

Have you ever caught your child tapping out beats on the kitchen table, singing melodies into their phone, or talking about creating their own songs? If so, our newest program might be exactly what they’ve been waiting for.
We’re excited to introduce our brand-new Music Production Program and Music Production Studio at The Music Garden!
Designed for students ages 10–17, these music production classes in Peachtree City give young musicians the opportunity to explore songwriting, recording, beat-making, and music production in a fun, creative environment. Whether your child already plays an instrument or is simply fascinated by how music is made, this class offers a unique way to bring their musical ideas to life.
What Is Music Production?
Simply put, music production is the process of creating a finished song.
It might start with a melody, a set of lyrics, a beat, or even a simple idea. From there, students learn how to develop that idea into a complete piece of music using recording software, studio equipment, instruments, vocals, and their own creativity.
Many of today’s artists create music from their laptops and home studios. Our music production program gives students a chance to learn those same foundational skills in a supportive, beginner-friendly setting.
What Will Students Learn?
Students in our music production classes will explore:
• Songwriting and composition
• Beat-making and rhythm creation
• Melody writing
• Recording vocals and instruments
• Audio editing and sound effects
• Music production software and studio technology
• Arranging and mixing music
• Creative collaboration with other young musicians
No previous experience is required. Students don’t need to know how to read music or play an instrument to get started. Curiosity, creativity, and a love of music are the most important ingredients.
Music Production for Kids and Teens
One of the things we love most about music production for kids and teens is that it meets students where they are.
Some students come in excited to experiment with sounds, create beats, and discover how music is put together. Others already have favorite artists, lyric ideas, or songs they’d love to create themselves.
Our instructors guide each student step by step, helping them develop both creative and technical skills while encouraging their own unique musical voice.
More Than Just Technology
While students will learn plenty of technical skills, this class is really about creativity.
Music production teaches students how to listen carefully, solve problems, organize ideas, make artistic decisions, and follow a project from beginning to end. There’s something incredibly rewarding about hearing an original idea transformed into a finished song.
For students already taking piano, guitar, voice, drums, violin, or other music lessons, music production can deepen their overall musicianship. For students who aren’t interested in traditional lessons, it can be an exciting doorway into the world of music.
The Music Garden has helped students of all ages grow as musicians through piano lessons, voice lessons, guitar lessons, drum lessons, violin lessons, and early childhood music classes. We’re excited to now offer music production classes in Peachtree City as part of that mission.
Our New Music Production Studio
Our all-new Music Production Studio gives students a dedicated space to create, experiment, collaborate, and learn. Working alongside experienced instructors, students will gain hands-on experience with songwriting, recording, editing, and producing music.
One of the most exciting parts of the program? By the end of the semester, students will have their own completed track and a new set of creative skills they can continue developing for years to come.
