What to Expect
Students are given the opportunity to perform solos, as well as duets and ensembles, in The Music Garden recitals, which typically are held in December and May.
We strive to instill a love of music in each student and work to help each one reach his/her full potential. We provide a positive and encouraging environment to bring out the best in each student, while taking into account different learning styles.
Students will master all the techniques necessary to become a great flutist. On the way, students learn basic music theory, (including how to read music), and musicianship skills. Students will build strong technique through scales and various exercises, and learn to play beautiful melodies along the way.
