TMG Beginning Band – (Ages 8-17)

Whether you’re curious about learning an instrument or have just started playing, TMG Beginner Band is the perfect class to explore music in a fun and supportive group setting. Designed for children and teens aged 8-17, this program is ideal for those who may not yet have access to a school band program and homeschooled students eager to experience the joy of music in a group setting. Students will also have the opportunity to perform at local community events, including venues like Grazing Here, Trillith, and The Avenue.

In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll:
🎵 Learn the basics of playing your instrument in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
🎶 Discover how to play simple songs and rhythms with your bandmates.
🥁 Explore timing, teamwork, and the fundamentals of making music together.
🎸 Build confidence as you master your first melodies and chords.
With enthusiastic instructors guiding every step, you’ll gain the skills to play alongside others while developing a love for music. Whether you’re playing a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument for the first time, this class makes music accessible and exciting for all.

🎷 Woodwinds Class: Saturdays, 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM


🥁 Brass/Percussion Class: Saturdays, 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM


🎟️ Monthly Price: $160


📚 Registration Fee: TBD (Includes a music book)

🎉 Special Events: Two major recitals: Winter and Year-End performances plus performances at local community events.
